Texas homeschool law basics:
- Texas is one of the most homeschool-friendly states. No registration, no testing requirements, no curriculum approval needed.
- Requirements: cover reading, spelling, grammar, math, and good citizenship. That's it.

- ALERT (Arlington Learning Enrichment and Recreation Tutorials) — one of the largest DFW co-ops. Various subjects. Source: Facebook group.
- Wild DFW Homeschool Co-op — nature-based learning. Outdoor focused.
- Heritage Academy (multiple DFW) — University Model School. Part homeschool, part classroom (2-3 days/week). Source: heritageacademy.com

- The Good and the Beautiful — Charlotte Mason inspired, free LA curriculum

Sports and activities for homeschoolers:
- Texas allows homeschoolers to participate in UIL activities at their zoned public school. Source: TX Education Code.

- Co-ops provide weekly group interaction
