Adrian Beltre is the most beloved Ranger of all time and it is not close. The 3,000 hit moment, the head touches with Elvis, the whole aura. A Hall of Famer who gave this franchise its soul.

Pudge Rodriguez at catcher is automatic. Best defensive catcher in MLB history with a bat to match. His arm behind the plate was a weapon. Runners simply did not attempt to steal.

Alex Rodriguez is the most talented player on this list and it is not even debatable. A shortstop hitting .305 with 52 home runs in a season. The controversy is real but the talent was generational.

Josh Hamilton\'s peak in Texas was the most exciting thing I have ever watched in baseball. The 2010 ALCS, the 4-homer game, the MVP season. When he was locked in, nobody on earth was better.

No Michael Young? He played 13 years in Texas, was a 7x All-Star, and has 2,230 career hits. He belongs on this list somewhere.
