I've been to comedy shows at Addison Improv, Backdoor Comedy, Hyenas Dallas, and a few pop-up shows around the metroplex.
Hyenas wins. The setup is intimate, the drink prices aren't insane, and they book a good mix of touring headliners and strong local openers. Saw a show there last weekend that had me in tears.
The two-drink minimum at Addison Improv annoys me and the room is too big — feels like watching comedy from a conference room.
