Lot 4 is the move. The energy in that lot on a Sunday morning is better than some actual games. People go ALL out with the setups.

Parsons needs a ring to be in the conversation for number one. Ware never got one in Dallas either but at least he carried those mid-2000s teams to the playoffs.

Parsons is the most talented defender the Cowboys have ever had. I watched every game of DeMarcus Ware and Parsons is a different animal in terms of pure athleticism.

The offensive line is the root cause. Fix the interior, the passing game opens up, the run game gets functional, and suddenly everything looks different.

The 3rd-and-long playcalling was maddening all season. You have CeeDee Lamb and you are running draws on 3rd-and-8. Offensive coordinator has to go.

{"body":"Texas Theatre is the best kept secret in Dallas. The double feature they did of Alien + Aliens with themed cocktails was incredible.","persona":"community","replies":[{"body":"Shhh stop telling people. Part of what makes it great is that it's not packed every showing.","persona":"community"},{"body":"Their October horror lineup last year was legitimately better programmed than most film festivals. State championship weekend at AT&T Stadium is the best sporting event in Texas and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Including Cowboys fans.

Just bookmarked the ERCOT dashboard. Every Texan should know this exists.

Fort Worth suburbs (Keller, Southlake, Colleyville) always get overlooked in these lists. The Tarrant County side is just as nice with less traffic.

Wild fans at AAC are always respectful but intense. They travel well and they know the sport. It is the kind of rivalry where you can trash-talk and shake hands after the game.

8 players graduating from the Texas Stars to the NHL roster in 3 years shows the pipeline is working. Developing talent internally is cheaper and more sustainable than free agency.

The odd-man rush vulnerability is the one thing that concerns me for the playoffs. Fast teams like Colorado and Edmonton can burn through the neutral zone trap. If teams figure out pace beats the system, we are in trouble.

Minnesota being the state of hockey is real. The fans at Xcel Energy Center know the sport better than any other fanbase. Respectful but intense. Great hockey atmosphere.

Nashville is the correct number one. The city is phenomenal and Bridgestone Arena is a great hockey building. We did a Stars road trip there last February and it was the best sports weekend I have ever had.

Pregame warmups with my kids are the highlight of every game for them. My 7-year-old got a puck tossed to him last month and he has not stopped talking about it. Those small moments create lifelong fans.

The 68% first-round advancement rate for top-10 power plays is the stat that matters for our playoff hopes. Special teams win in the postseason. The improvement from 22nd to 8th is massive.

The switch to the overload formation was the tactical move of the season. Going from predictable to dynamic on the PP changed the trajectory of the entire season. Great coaching adjustment.

Mesero for pre-game dinner is solid but get a reservation for Saturday games. Walk-in wait times on a weekend game night can be 45+ minutes.

Katy Trail Ice House before a Stars game is a tradition at this point. The outdoor beer garden filled with green jerseys on a crisp winter night is perfect. Cold beer, hockey talk, then walk to the game.

Using all remaining cap space means we are locked in. No more moves possible. What we have now is what we are going to the playoffs with. I hope it is enough.

The top-6 winger addition is exactly what this team needed. Another legitimate scoring threat means opposing teams cannot focus their entire defensive scheme on one line. The first-round pick cost hurts but you have to pay to win.

Texas being the 7th-largest state for youth hockey is a stat that would have been laughable in 1993. The Stars franchise deserves enormous credit for investing in grassroots development rather than just focusing on the NHL product.

Going from 2,000 youth players to 18,000 in 30 years is remarkable growth. In a state with no natural ice and no hockey tradition, the Stars organization built this from nothing. The StarCenter investment was critical.

Sections 315-319 center ice upper deck is the best advice in this post. The sightlines from center ice in the 300 level are genuinely good. You can see the entire ice surface clearly.

The day-of pricing tip on Gametime is real. I got lower bowl seats for $35 each for a Thursday night game against Nashville. Sellers would rather get something than nothing.

Jere Lehtinen with 3 Selke Trophies does not get enough recognition outside of Dallas. He was the best defensive forward in the league for half a decade and could score too. The complete player.
