Every time someone says "Deep Ellum is dead" I know they haven't been to a show at Trees or Club Dada in the last 6 months.
Last week I saw a local band at Three Links that blew my mind. 50 people in the room, $10 cover, and they were playing like it was Madison Square Garden. The DFW music scene has always been about finding the small shows if you know where to look.
The corporate bars and tourist traps? Yeah, those suck. But the actual music venues are still putting on incredible shows every week.
Who are your favorite local DFW artists right now? I need new stuff to listen to.
